General Services

Q: What types of events can I book you for?
A: I perform at weddings, private parties, restaurants, corporate events, and community gatherings. Whether you need background music or a feature performance, I can tailor the music to fit the vibe of your event.
Q: Do you bring your own sound equipment?
A: Yes. For an additional charge, I can provide professional speakers, microphone, and a small sound setup if your venue doesn’t already have equipment.
Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: It’s best to book at least 4 to 6 weeks in advance to secure your date, but I sometimes have availability on shorter notice.
Q: What areas do you travel to for performances?
A: I’m based in Washington D.C. area, and I perform throughout the surrounding areas as well as nationwide and internationally. I am happy to travel further for special events, so feel free to reach out with your location details.
Q: Can you customize your setlist for an event?
A: Of course. I’ll work with you to create a setlist that fits the mood of your event, whether that’s upbeat and lively, soft and romantic, or a mix of styles.
Q: Do you take song requests?
A: Absolutely. If there’s a special song you’d like to hear, let me know in advance and I’ll do my best to include it.
Q: Do you perform solo or with a band?
A: Most of my performances are solo with professional backing tracks, but I also collaborate with musicians when a live band is requested.

Performing Vocalist / Recording Artist

Q: What genres of music do you perform?
A: I sing a wide variety of music including Indian film songs (any language), pop, R&B, soul, jazz, and classic hits from different decades. I can also include current chart songs or special requests.
Q: Do you record vocals for hire?
A: Yes. If you’re a songwriter or producer looking for a vocalist, I can record professional-quality vocals in my home studio and send the files to you.
Q: Can you perform at weddings?
A: Absolutely. I can sing during the ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception. We’ll go over song choices in advance to make sure the music matches your vision.

Voice Lessons / Vocal Coaching​

Q: Do you offer online lessons?​
A: Yes. I teach both online and in-person voice lessons, so you can learn from anywhere.​
Q: What ages and skill levels do you teach?​
A: I work with kids (age 7 and above), teens, and adults, from beginners who have never sung before to advanced singers preparing for auditions, gigs, or recording.​
Q: What should I expect in my first lesson?
A: We’ll start with some vocal warm-ups, talk about your goals, and work through a song you enjoy. I’ll give you personalized exercises to help you improve right away.
Q: Do you help with audition or performance prep?
A: Yes. I regularly coach singers for auditions, school musicals, competitions, and live performances. We’ll work on technique, expression, and stage presence so you feel confident.
Q: Do you teach in-person lessons?
A: Yes, I offer in-person voice lessons in the Annapolis, Maryland area at a premium rate, in addition to online lessons for students anywhere.
Q: What times do you teach?
A: Most of my lessons take place on weekday evenings, and I occasionally have daytime availability. All lesson times are scheduled in Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Q: What are your rates?
A: My rates reflect US market standards and my experience as a professional vocalist, recording artist, and voice coach. Pricing varies depending on whether you’re booking a performance or a voice lesson.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: For performances, a deposit is required to secure your date. I ask for at least 14 days’ notice for cancellations to allow for rescheduling or adjustments. For voice lessons, I request 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule.
